Typical is right, the top of the mountain for any Carthage alumni/player/coach is 1st round of the playoffs, then you're consider Carthage hall of fame 1st ballot. We at least aspire to go a little further, so that make's us never were's? You must be the toughest person in Carthage Turdmite. :flower:

LOL must have hit that nerve I was aiming for dead on, Turdmite. Not only did you leave 1 tough reply. But you was still hot enough about it 2 hours later that you came back to share some more of your signature toughness with us. :flower:

Hey Glover - have you seen SC practice any this spring? I haven't had a chance to see them.

I haven't had the chance. I got alot of stuff coming up and SC Football is going to have to be set aside atleast till August when the season starts. I know there is a scrimmage on Thursday with Watertown.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
