I love the quote Coach Crane stated. He said he was unaware of any rule violation. How can you be practicing football with the football wrapped in a towel and not think anything was wrong with that or you were not trying to hide anything. Edited April 25, 2012 by hardtackle

Is he going to resign or be fired? I can't support a coach who purposely cheats and then says he didn't know the rules. If he didn't know then why did he call it Alabama Camoflague? He also has 2 coaches that have been coaching in tssaa for over 30 years a piece. Did they not tell him? I bet there are some other parents mad too. Especially if my son had a chance to compete for a starting spot this spring. The darn principal needs to step up and force a change before it gets worse.

The principal does not have the authority to dismiss. Power comes from higher ups.

I read the article also and know what was said,but she does not have that power,he has friends in high places keeping this from happening.

This isn't the first time they have done something shady, just the first time they got caught. The coach should be fired.

First thing WiseGuy. If I was going to turn him in it would have been last spring when they were practicing in the gym. I didnt realize it was against the rules. Your 2nd comment doesnt bother me because he is a starter. What does bother me is he is missing this spring for something his coach did.
