AA State Tournament

Not much being said about the AA state tourney. Who y'all got advancing and making it to the final game?

I havent seen anybody but Goodpasture and they are loaded from 1-9. Great pitching and great defense. I have no dog in the hunt since my son played at another school, but these boys are for real. They have over 30 home runs as well. They will definitely be a tough out.

Looking for a Spring Hill-Goodpasture final. No dog here either but would be a great matchup: Cougar bats vs Raider arms.

McNairy Central beat some really good teams to get here as well. They beat Lexington, Covington, and Dyersburg to win the district and region. They could sneak up on somebody as well.

I don't see mcnairy even making it out of their bracket. They have to get past good pasture and pigeon forge. Not to mention they almost lost their sectional game to Fairley and had to squeeze In the 7th to win it. Could be wrong but I don't see them getting passed a game 3

Today is the big day though. Can't wait to see who all wins today and all the talk and predictions after the games. I still say it will be a Covington vs Goodpasture final.

I don't have a young man on the baseball team, but my daughter plays softball for Goodpasture. I know the baseball team is loaded with talent and depth at pitching. It will be hard to beat them. Just my opinion but it is state anything can happen.
