Surprise, the gentleman that started this thread, who pushes siegel at the expense of te sport, and the number 1 pot stirrer on coacht makes another inflammatory post and then uses his power to edit it or delete it after a response. You lose all credibility when you do that. Don't hide behind the delete or edit button. You get on here and trash schools to start something then delete it! I will wait until the season is over when the two Woods are in another state final, a place that siegel is a long way away from.

All this Siegel bashing needs to stop. No booster club officer or parent had ANYTHING to do with the selection of this coach. The AD did not ask for names or suggestions from any parents regarding this coach. This coach sought the job, along with other qualified candidates and the administration saw something in her that they liked as a new teacher and coach and hired her. End of story. The parents were notified of her name on Friday before the try out on Monday. Siegel was not an " Alliance" team this year. There were two players, a sophomore and a freshman, who played for Alliance. Numerous players played for Club West and numerous players played for RC Jrs., so it was not a specific club affiliation that brought this young coach to Siegel. Phargis is certainly not a representative of Siegel and BruinBabe is certainly a hater of Jay Golstyn. Clifford 20 knows exactly how the situation unfolded. My concern is for a young woman who has taken on a huge challenge and is being bashed and judged prior to the season even starting. She will make mistakes because the learning curve is huge as were each of our own learning curves when we started our own first jobs. Luckily our mistakes weren't scrutinized and posted on a ridiculous public forum such as this has become. I suggest that anyone who wants the true story should contact the AD at Siegel. Otherwise, quit posting lies. Let the coach have her success and mistakes. Her successes and mistakes will mold her to be the great coach she will ultimately become. If you have a problem with the hire then bash the AD. He made the hire solely. Just admire this young coach for taking on a huge challenge!

Thanks for the post. And at all of those new coaches who are coaching this year and to all of those great players who would like to coach some day in the High School Ranks, Noterity sometimes attracts detractors. If you have the will and persistance, live your dream and don't be afraid of those who critize you. And if you make some mistakes, pick yourself up and don't make them again. People who don't make mistakes have very short memories. Players and Coaches, improve your play and coaching. This is a big time game in real time. Everyone, live in this time and moment and do your best. Everyone depends on everyone else.
