Sycamore to host two tournaments in 2012/2013

Sycamore War Eagles will be hosting 2 tournaments this season. We are looking for teams for both.

1. Sycamore Duals.

Saturday, December 15, 2012.

 

This will be a "Small School Duals" atmosphere.

 

We have 6 teams and will take two more.

 

Hospitality for coaches and officials.

 

Top two teams receive a plaque.

 

 

Teams committed so far, Sycamore, Alcoa, East Lit., MLK, Page, and Raliegh Egypt.

 

 

 

2. Sycamore Invitational.

Saturday, January 12, 2013.

16 man, double elimination.

 

Top 4 teams receive plaques.

 

Top 4 individuals receive medals.

 

Outstanding wrestler award 106-145 and 152-HWT, and best match award.

 

Hospitality for coaches and officials, we had some great food last year.

 

Last year we started 5 minutes late and we finished before dark. Things went very smoothly.

 

We do an old school finals with the championship matches on the center mat under a single row of lights. Yes, we did finish before dark.

 

We will also have a mat set up for the girls this year. We will match them up as best we can and we will have medals for them.

 

Teams committed so far, Sycamore, Wilson Central, Harpeth, Cheatham County, UHA Ky, Raliegh Egypt, Creek Wood, White House, Millignton, Nashville Christian.
