Daniel Boone vs Cherokee

Ole WG (3A) gave Cherokee a game the 1st qtr then we just quit! The Chiefs will make a run, but I think Boone is too strong, although the Ryans kid is for real! Should be a good game! Best of luck to both teams!

It will be a higher scoring game if the nickel and dime runs that DB had last week turn into dollars. Then the ball will be in the Chiefs hands more. It may come down to a field goal or extra point.

 

I have watched Boone play football for a long time and I can honestly say that I have never seen them turn anything into a dollar. Im telling ya nickel and dime, nickel and dime. If Cherokee doesn't have to ball they can't score. Its a pretty simple game plan. All ya gotta do is play keep away. If your looking for Boone to score quick and often and then give the ball back to Cherokee so they can do the same you'd be more satisfied staying home and watching preseason NFL games.

Agreed trailblazer... if you think the key to beating Cherokee is playing flip the field with Ryans your wrong. I think that JJ will have a plan that includes a heavy dose of 23 and clock management, but if Boone can get a few turnovers early and turn them into quick points watch out. I could see the game going 21-13 Boone or 35-13 Boone. Ryans is good but defense wins this game.

Word is Boone lost a starting offensive lineman today to a broken leg...Hope this isn't true and if it is...wishing the young man the very best!

Haven't heard that was that in the paper? Sounds like a tough situation for Boone ...was it in the game on Sat.? Which one...hopefully not a senior.
