Friendship Christian vs Jackson County

We really appreciate all of the career advice for our new QB. But I doubt he will read it. Honestly, I hope he doesn't even know about CoachT. How about some football talk? How does FC match up man for man with JC? Does anyone know? I know they have a chip on their shoulder after last years meetings. Are they improved any? I have been thinking of them as just slightly better than RBS, Clay, Pickett, Monterey and Watertown.

Scale of 1 to ten, ten being best: Pickett Co 1, Clay Co 2, RBS 3, Monterey 4, Jackson Co 5, Watertown 5, Trousdale 6, Friendship 8/9, Gordonsville 9.

Whenever these teams face off, just use this scale and you can predict the winner all year.

I was not impressed with JC at all last year. It really felt like we were playing Clay Co. all night. Are they any better?

Ha appreciate it guys. Actually im a fan of anyone in wilson co. Considering im a friendship alumni. Gladm sherlock holmes did his detective work. So sorry too upset the thread. Goodluck fcs get that ring back to back. They are building a strong program.

Guys don't buy into Goinhams trolling efforts. He is a Wilson central fan and He knows FC has the county's lone gold ball and that if another in football comes to this county FC will claim it. AJ has offers from UCLA, Syracuse, and a long list of others courting him. I'd say he's just green with envy that FC has him and the gold from 2011.

You are right Volzchamp about Goinham being a troll. Now, he is a FC grad, but he is willing to put down AJ because he wants his bloodline to get the same props over at WC and it drives him nuts that he is not.

JC has gotten better. I don't think they will beat FC though. JC will probably go 7-3 this year is my prediction. Losing to Trousdale,Fc, and Gordonsville. But they should be able to beat the other teams on their schedule this year.

I agree.^^^

And i believe the skills (wideout's and runningbacks) not QB, are fairly equal for FC and JCHS.

If you have the athletes we do, other than QB, then this should be a 14-21 point game. With that said, I don't think you have the athletes that we do. You might have a few athletes who are quick but you don't have anywhere near the team speed that we have. You'll figure that out Friday night. It will be a 28-35 point game by halftime, an the freshman will get plenty of playing time in the second half

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
