wouldn't mind at all it happening again GC - pay back to that sorry u-know-what for all those on-side kicks last yr.,when we were hollering across the field about what a low-life he was for having his kicking coach do that. go get em GC

Very True.....you don't kick a dog while he is down and out. Hard to forget those kind of things and that nights game rang out across western tennessee like the Liberty bell rang again. Sometimes...paybacks are * * * * ! Many football fans remember that night very well, even many Rebel fans were embarassed to say the least....2nd or 3rd string. Maybe that was the time you should have practiced on the kicking game and not kicking the other over matched team deeper into the dirt. Don't worry though...Covington is down the road and they will remember also. This is why Coach jackson has NO respect in Western Tennessee. I have had many high school coaches and refs say over the summer...that dog don't hunt. Like it or not, O C Coach jackson was totally in the wrong on that game. Now it is this year and just maybe...paybacks comes as a suprise. I still say Obion wins Friday night. Just had to chime in on this one. Get mad at me or not..just stating the facts and what other brought up on here.

Well, it's pretty tacky reguardless of what he was trying to accomplish. OC's kicking game was not too great last year.... that game would've been a good time to work on kicking deep and staying in lanes. Jackson accomplished nothing by kicking 7 or 8 onside kicks except that he is as classless as it comes. I'm sure me saying this means absolutely nothing to him, but I'm a true believer in karma and it'll get him one day. Our players should take from last years game and play this weeks game like it's the state championship. Nothing would be sweeter than to win against OC after last years stunt they pulled.

Let's be fair and say that OC is not the only team that puts them "deeper in the dirt". Just about everyone the Pioneers play blows them out. Heck, Milan blew them out of the water in the 1st quarter just like OC did last year. Oh and onside kicks are a part of the game. The object of the game is to retain possession of the ball at all cost. There is nothing wrong with getting a little live practice when you have the game under control.

Gibson County's problems are just mental. They always have a strong middle school team. I don't know what happens when they get to high school.

Oh and what exactly are you talking about when you say Covington is down the road and they will remember also???

What we mean....you will be a Gibson County from last year and Covington will be a Obion County from last year but much better. Covington is Covington and will take advantage of the lopsided night when they play O C. Covington will run through your region with ease. One of their assistant coaches said they remember all of the onside kicks against a helpless Gibson County last year. It is not the kids fault....the O C kids that is...they were told to do so. I'm sure that will be brought up in one of the articles this week somewhere.

And Milan didn't kick a single onside kick and played their second, 3rd and 4th strings with less than 7 minutes in the 1st quarter.

Well its like I said.. no other teams out there show any mercy toward Gibson County. No team scores 2 or 3 touch downs and calls it quits so that the other team can catch up. Yeah last years OC team may have had their onside kicks but every other team that Gibson County played ran away with the game in their own way.

covington is gonna take advantage of oc just like y'all did to Gibson .. Covington has respect for all teams but prolly not soo much for oc after the video they posted this off season .. Motto smart when u are messing with a team that is ranked first in the state .. Oc will get what they deserve this year

    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
