DCurtis 4 winners

Booger 3 winners

Champs 2 winners

CC 1 winner

I feel I should get at least 1 additional credit for kinda calling Sullivan/DB dead on with the tie.......that would also give me 50% of that Ckicken Liver & Gizzard Combo from the Texaco that was up for grabshungry.gif

Farragut vs Bearden (Farr +1)- Farragut covers

S.Sullivan vs DB (DB +1)- complete guess on Sullivan, at least tying

Oak Ridge vs Soddy D (OR +2)- Oak Ridge, just do not think SD is strong or physical enough

Franklin vs BGA (Frank +2)- Franklin covers easily

W.House vs Brentwood (Brent +2)- White House, assuming you are referring to Brent High

ND vs Signal Mtn (ND +1)- ND Covers, hoping we make the running up the score thread

Hume Fogg vs Centennial (even)- Centenial

I think I should get total credit for the Oak Ridge win. My motivational techniques have brought Akula's coaching prowess to a whole new level. He may even make a great moderator some day.

    • Think he would be better suited to save our baseball program. We struggle to win 5 games a year but noone wants to talk about that. Could even coach from the fence across the creek should he continue in his extra curricular activities.

    • Mancoverage sez: This thread has been an absolute delight! Absolutely marvelous! Such eloquent and rosy prose, contained here in, is so seldom found amongst the more jocular subset of our species. The brilliant author behind such poetic use of an obviously deep and broad vernacular, reminds me of the other-worldly talents of Oscar Wilde. I humbly thank you, kind sir, for so generously sharing your elegantly loquacious gifts. The Goat sez: You better watch your back, Lord Byron, I’m sure poetry isn’t the only talent and passion that the author shares with Oscar Wilde.
