congrats to the tigers on an impressive offensive showing. #1 and # 18 both had incredible games... york played very well offensivly too . the stops you talk about were few and far between...york had 2 costly turnovers but were still able to run the ball effectivly against dekalbs defence. even with the safeties playing 10 yards off the ball.. biggest mistake of the night come from the ref on the kickoff returned by york to the 11 yard line where they got called for a personal foul that no one seen... all in all york has some work to do defensivly before playoff time... good luck to dekalb the rest of the way... great atmosphere at the game tonight...

 

Yes it was a great atmosphere! As for our defense, from what I saw we didn't do too much different than what I expected. We were very aggressive and literally every time the qb went back to actually pass he was sacked, rushed to throw, or intercepted. But when you're against a veer offense being that aggressive has its drawbacks. There were many times we were in the backfield and tackling the person without the ball, I was afraid of that when I knew how aggressive our D has been this year. I formations get smothered, but the veer is different. Play calls were excellent from York last night. It looked like they tried alot of plays up their sleeves, lol.

York vs smith co is going to be good! Even matched, I give York the advantage with their offense. It will be high scoring. Imo

Personal foul was the ball flip the return man did at the end of the run, silly call I believe but the refs will call that every time, so it was the right call, its hard to celebrate in high school without a personal foul

I dont think SC can stop the running game of York like they should to win. York will stop Manning as they should so I give the edge to York in this game York 34 Smith County 26.

Well I'll tell you York was much tougher than Smith Co. to stop.. offensively. But like I said that secondary is weak. Or maybe Phillips just had a great game with his receivers, I don't know. Smith likes to run anyway so I don't know.

I have a question that has to do with DTC. Does anyone know if this game will be replayed and if so when would it come on?

Not looking past them, but we should both be 9-0. But I will say Livingston's scores in these last few games have not impressed me. DC took the same teams out way worse.

 

It's hard to get excited about scores when Livingston pulls starters after the first drive in the second quarter. But, go ahead and compare scores.
