MJ scrimmaged both Riverdale and Oakland..... I would give the nod to Riverdale. Oakland is good.....but pitching was not great... at least in this scrimmage. I don;t know if they threw their best. Riverdale threw Sutton, he has shed a few pounds and looked pretty good.

MJ didn't score a run until the 8th inning and Oakland was on pitcher 3.

Riverdale should be good because of their pitching. Oakland should be good because they appear to have the most talent top to bottom. Siegal will likely be good again because of their coaching and they have some players. Blackman has some guys that can beat you. Smyrna, same thing. Haven't heard much about LaVergne this year. It's going to be interesting to say the least.

yea that's true, scrimmages are crazy and sometimes hard to tell. I thought Oakland was a solid team. We'll see how it goes, I don't think MJ plays Oakland this season, we do have Riverdale , LaVer, and Siegel

You can tell MJ has is a solid team as well. I wish them, and all the teams in the M TN area nothing but the best of luck. This area has some very good talent !

It wasn't Peyton Motroni , it was Erik Eilers and his doing good , pitched and beat Columbia last night , Oakland won 3-2 Erik went 6 2/3 and stone from Columbia got the L and went 6 I think

I think the kid hurt from last year, Matrone is a catcher. He is palying this year and heard he looks good behind the dish. I was told he threw a kid out from Columbia and the second baseman had to wait on the runner to get there.....
