Ok Guys- It's that time of year again....Big game on Highway 100 at Ensworth. Two Big Rivals, Two extremely amped fan bases, and two good teams. Post Predictions, ask questions, Post Stats, Post Whatever you want relating to this game.

My Prediction is Ensworth 27-24. MBA responds to a demanding fan base as MBA hasn't beaten Ensworth since '09 Playoffs, however goes down on a Jake Estes field goal, who is widely regarded as best kicker in the state.

Can't Wait.

MBA will have to open the playbook up and execute to make this a close game....EHS can stop the run, and MBA was, in the last game, too afraid to challenge Corn over the middle (with good reason, as the one time they did, Corn picked it off and returned it for a TD...called back for PI). I guess, as a fan, I would rather see them be aggressive, come what may, than just slowly bleed to a 35-7 type loss again. Hall didn't play in the last game, so maybe they will take more chances with him.

When these teams play in the playoffs, revenge has taken place both times.

2009 - Reg Season- Ensworth wins, Playoffs- MBA wins

2010 - Reg Season - MBA wins, Playoffs- Ensworth wins

This should be a very good ballgame. I think Endsworth probably has the better team but if MBA plays to their potential, it could be interesting. Remember, Trinity's coach said Hall was one of the best quarterbacks in Nashville, they have good receivers, exciting runners and sometimes an outstanding defense. They must however stop Elder. If this all comes together, as I said, it should be a very exciting game.

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
