TigerPride23
Ok thanks for the info. Do you know who we play?
dctiger
Girls have cookeville, which will be a tough one to win. Cookeville is very good this year. I think the guys play Warren. Which will also be a good game, considering we're on their home floor...
TigerPride23
The guys should be able to handle Warren if they keep playing well. And yeah I thought Cookeville would be a tough game. I'm glad though. They need to be exposed to good competition outside of district play. dctiger
I agree about playing Cookeville. They should be a regular season game with them being so close to us. Warren is so tough at home. I'm a bit nervous lol. That being said, Cookeville and Wilson central playing in the other semifinal should be a GREAT game. I'm definitely going to watch that one. Widetackle
Wilson central and cookeville have already played this year, with wc winning by 10. This game was played before their PG Roper got hurt
dctiger
So you think it will be about the same now? Where was the game played?
Widetackle
Hard to say, 2 really good teams. Cookeville has the size advantage, and central has the better guards. Could be a toss up! Williams for central had 27 in the last game, so his scoring will be a factor in determining the winner.
TigerPride23
I've heard from someone I trust that Howell will be back Jan. 11. That's earlier than expected, because coacht's schedule has a few games missing between the Christmas tournament and the next game. I looked at an actual printed out schedule and the Jan. 11 seems to be accurate. I have a question though. If he is out for that certain amount of games, does that account for if we keep winning in the tournament? Would that shorten the time any? District8aaInsider
He is out due to school suspension for x amount of days. With christmas break he cannot complete those days until school starts back after the break. Amount of games played doesnt matter.
dctiger
Well we were guaranteed three, but since we won last night we get four. Were they taking that into account?
dctiger
He is out due to school suspension for x amount of days. With christmas break he cannot complete those days until school starts back after the break. Amount of games played doesnt matter. He had two different punishments going. Suspension from school AND separate amount of games missed.
