Turbo smith beat Aaron Lopez in 2 ot Soddy leads 32-16

 

Wow. Suprises me. Although he is the master of keeping it close without actually shooting. Not knocking him, he is very good at looking busy with level changes and hand movement and tough to score on. I watched the Marchetti match and i didnt see one attempted move other than a stand up in regulation or any of the overtimes. What was the score on this one? I bet 3-2

Soddy wins big. Jones fires another coach after this one. Heard it hear first.

I'm trying to figure out the final score last I heard Soddy won the match after turbo an Lopez big and that they may forfeit the final match which they would have prob won with Henry! Wow huge statement for Soddy!

 

did Hamilton , Oliver and the new kid from Georgia wrestle for Cleveland? Did Soddy have everybody? If so this was a shocker

Shocker? DId you not read the #2 post where some genius named scottmike predicted Soddy Central BIG? Who else was totally amazed by the all knowing all seeing scottmike besides me??

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
