Its been that kind of year lol......its all in the pitching.......and the inability to bunt. Its a new, "old" game again and the players just have not caught up to small ball. But I love it.

MONDAY AT BEECH:

Lebanon over Portland 17-6 in six innings. Wilson Central vs. Beech never started due to rain. That game will be played Tuesday at 4 p.m. with the loser playing Lebanon at 7 pm.

We flatout got spanked, Lebanon out hit us, and out pitched us today. Not to mention the 9 errors we had. They also have the best catcher we faced this year in Jay Pitman. The kid should really try and play at the next level, and I told him just that after the game. He is a fire plug behind the dish. Good luck to the 3 teams remaining.

MJ is guaranteed a substate game. Looks like Carter's "hands off" magic is working for now....

MJ is hitting much better, playing smarter and the defense is good. Pitching is good.... hopefully we make it to the state and see what happens...
