Hearing from friend at JCHS, last couple of innings wheels fell off for JCHS with errors after building 5 - 1 lead. Weather played a factor.

 

Looking at scores....

 

SCHS, SD, Mo West, JCHS and Seymour seem to be standing out. BIG sweep for SCHS to take early advantage

Conference Standings as of 4/17

 

1. Sevier County 11-1

 

2. South Doyle 8-3

 

3. Seymour 7-3

 

4. Jefferson County 7-4

 

5. Morristown West 5-4

8. Cocke County 0-10

 

Sevier Co. has the Regular season title all but locked up, but the race for 2nd could get interesting.

 

South Doyle is in 2nd right now but have 3 tough games remaining (Jeff twice and Seymour)

 

Seymour has 2 against Sevier and 1 against South Doyle and a make up game against Cherokee.

 

Mo. West is sitting at 5-4 in the conference but could easily go 4-1 or even 5-0 down the stretch with games against Cocke Co. Cherokee, Jeff and 2 against Mo East.

 

Jeff is in a solid position at 7-4 but also have a tough final 3 games down the strech (SD twice and Mo. West)

 

I think the last few weeks of the IMAC season could be interesting to watch.

It looks like Sevier County will be crowned the champ of the IMAC. So who will be the official last place team this season, Cocke County or Cherokee?

If both South Doyle and Morristown West win all of their remaining games they'll finish 10-4 in IMAC play which would be tied for 2nd. They split their 2 games this season, so what would be the tiebreaker should they both win out
