He would do great at Kenwood. Also, he wouldn't be the first Cubs head football coach to leave Ashland City to lead the Knights football program.

It's also very ironic that the head boys basketball coach at Kenwood is John Stigall. Stigall was the boys basketball coach from the fall of '05 through the spring of '08 at Cheatham County Central High School.

 

Cheatham County coaches have done fairly well for themselves, and more importantly helped many student-athletes to succeed, at KHS.

Would like to see a good friend of mine get this job. He played at Kenwood apart of the team that went to semis or finals can't remember exactly I know Howdy would know. Played at APSU with him good LB and he is defensive guy having coached LBs in the college ranks

In Kenwood's 3rd year they did advance to the 1999 Class 4A State Semifinals. They beat Tullahoma (who was unbeaten that season), Pearl-Cohn (1996-19997 champs), and Whites Creek (19998 runner-up to Maryville) in the playoffs that November.
