yeah, must admit... I was once guilty of loudly yelling that years back (don't want to be tagged with creating this act like Al www Gore by any means) but it seemed to help, and I did this until about 10 years ago when it even got old to ME... Yelling Ssssskaaaaa(5sec)aaaaahhhhhwwweee(10 sec)eeeeeeze and it seemed to spread like a plague or something in mid-tn anyway... It really sounds more like a zoo now...

 

& It still continues...

I love coaching youth tournaments and little johnnies daddy, who knows nothing about wrestling is trying to coach and record johnnie over my back. Then when you ask him to get out of your corner he wants to fight you. Great times!

I've seen a local coach DQ his own wrestler and on another occasion tell the ref to take team points from his own wrestler (this happened multiple times in the same match). I'm new to TN but have never seen that before. Is this this common or is it just one guy?

It happens more than you think. Especially with good an honest coaches. My college coaches yell at the ref when we are stalling to show that we accept calls both ways even when it may be crucial. The coach shows a sense of maturity when he knows that his wrestler is competent of a higher quality and is choosing to make the call inevitable
