Sounds like a great club to get involved in for any Region 1 wrestlers! Kudos to Coach Farrara in this new endeavor.

Would be interesting to know why the '423' was chosen. I know that is the area code for Chattanooga if I am not mistaken? Regardless of the name this kind of involvement should be applauded and will only serve to make Tennessee wrestling better.

Haha!! Glad I'm not the only one who notices this! Before I walked into the Top 100 at Union County, I looked at the other coach with me and said, lets count how many different times we see the word "Elite" today... Sure enough, it was on a flyer for some club on the check in table as soon as you walk in! Along with 3 others we counted that day.

The word is horribly overused. The meaning of the word has been completely depleted.

Too many teams with the word "Academy" in their name, when the teams are really not academies at all.

Webster defines Academy as

a: a school usually above the elementary level; especially: a private high school b: a high school or college in which special subjects or skills are taught c: higher education —used with the <the functions of the academy in modern society>

None of which are actually who seem to be representing themselves as these "schools" for wrestling.
