Sweetwater's non-region schedule effects

Will Milan and Huntingdon's stronger non-region schedule have any bearing on their performance in the playoffs compared to Sweetwater's relatively weak one? Is strength of schedule ever a factor? If this is a non-factor, what will make the difference? Give me your thoughts.

It can be a factor, but I don't think it is a big one. I can think of several more that are more important! I don't see Milan's non-region schedule as being that much tougher, and Huntingtons region sched. is much weaker than Sweetwater's.

What will make the difference, here are a few things: Scouting, play calling, coaches, and most importantly Sweetwaters tallent, skill, and HEART! I also believe the east side of the bracket has the stronger teams. I think Tyner, Goodpasture, and Sweetwater would all come out on top if they were on that side.

With all that being said, this is high school football, and when you make it deep into the play-offs any team is capable of puting on a run in the play-offs, so you must overlook no one, and take then one at a time! Go cats! ;):):):x:x:x:x:x:x --

Hmmm...Sweetwater sure looked like they owned OS in that close 16-7 game a couple weeks ago. They looked like they owned them when the refs gave them both games last year, too. My memory fails me sometimes, but I think OS won the '98, '99, and '00 games. I distinctly remember the 21-0 and 23-0 shutouts that OS put on Sweetwater in '99 and '00. I guess that's domination, huh?

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
