At risk of being accused of overthinking:

The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is the near-total enameling of the front of the medal. It makes it hard to tell which color it is. Also, there's nothing to identify it as a wrestling medal as opposed to any other sport. My suggestion in those two respects would be to take the "Wrestling Championships" logo and screen-print it onto the medal.
