Alcoa at Elizabethton Winner goes to State

Sparky has to blame everything on Unicoi County.I've lived around Eliz. all my life and I know how they operate. They have always been so jealous of Unicoi County in basketball and softball they had to resort to recruiting to beat them. You know that is why they have boundries is to stop the teams from recruiting. If Eliz. is going to play off of all of Carter County then they should monve up in classification. But they can't because they know they can't compete with the larger schools. So they just play their one middle school and stress to the kids how much better off they will be if they keep their team together through high school. I know I've been through it with them and I've heard every excuse in the world not to break up their middle school and aau teams.So there sparky deny that.

The refs have been horrible! During the Grainger game, their big girls were karate chopping our girls under the goal and getting away with it! They definitely didn't ride our bus to the game!

No, I don't blame everything on Unicoi. I was just making an educated guess on Buki's origin based on the subjects and content from a history of bogus posts. This post is so scattered and arbitrary that I'm not sure what I am supposed to deny. BTW, who was recruited on this year's team? I do not think EHS has recruited anyone but the player they lost to a county school is who they are missing a lot right now.

Doesn't look like they're missing anybody to me. I would take our freshmen over the young lady who left to play at a county school. I hear that she is wanting to come back and play at Elizabethton next year.....wonder why?

The Freshman are good. The tread was people saying EHS was recruiting and I was taking up for EHS.

Congrats to the Lady Cyclones, Bulldogs and Landers. Coaches Dugger, Tolley and Birchfield are to be commended for leading their teams to the state tournament, especially with the adversity each team has faced this season. Good luck to all.

I'm very proud of our little Carter county teams making it to the Boro! Maybe all of them will be overlooked! Then each one of them will sneak up on these mighty teams from middle and west TN and give them something to remember! A loss!
