During the dead period there are no open facilities, no practice, and no weight training/conditioning allowed at the high schools. So true! I know of several high schools that have someone coaching their club team that is not on the high school staff. The only problem is that they are still practicing in the high school wrestling room and at the present time that is a violation of the dead period rules.
