Who are some of the guys pick to win state this year from east tennessee.....i know of jon lane and kyle james.

You mean if Jones of Cleveland wants a gold medal he will weight in outside of Gibson's weight class. They are not even in the same ballpark as far as wrestling is concerned. Gibson would smoke him.

Greeneville High's Daniel Crosby at 275lb. 3rd as a sophomore, State Champ as a Jr. and back for a repeat.

sly, you must be a bradley fan, hey thats ok. but I agree with you anyway. you gotta give credit where credit is due, gibson did beat jones 3 times last year. but jones is good and like i said if he moves up, he could take the gold

ps, i don't agree with the blackmon thing, he had it handed to him last year and didn't want it. maybe he has grown up this year. and that is a tough weight class.

i quess you guys forgot that we wrestle in the knoxville area also. we have a few guys that have competed at state and are returning this year! like ely from gibbs at 125, floyd from south doyle, driggers from kingston, etc. don't sell the knoxville kid's short. there are other wrestling teams north of cleveland! the programs aren't in the same league as bradley central, YET, but are quickly moving in that direction. the kid's from knoxville area WILL make some noise this year.

I wouldn't count out Chris Brown from Soddy. He beat Shawn Cordell twice last year. Both were very close though. Should be a fun match to watch!!!

As long as Chris Brown doesn't have his toe nails painted red, I think Cordell can beat him
