Wartburg didnt play real well today. Fountain has made plays this year that makes him truley a finalist. With that being said he did lead all scorers today and scored 26 of the 72 points for Wartburg

Dont think anybody will be smacking tomorrow, state final four, very rarely is their"smacking" going on, humboldt has very good guards, not sure how they will guard fountain, one guy guarding him 1 vs 1, will be a task, maybe even 2 vs 1, then you have one of their guards hit 3s like lagnly today, clarkrange swarmed fountain and langley was left open, exciting time of yr

I was not impressed with the Fountain kid today. I was expecting much from him from what everybody on here had said. He is a good player, I will give him that but honestly I thought he would be just Awsome. Frankly for a Mr Basketball Finalist I was disappointed. I was afraid our big guys would have difficulty getting a shot of today but was pretty impressed. Buffaloes could have beat this team. Don't look for them to take home the Gold Ball but they are there and we ain't so good luck to wartburg

Wartburg didnt play real well today. Fountain has made plays this year that makes him truley a finalist. With that being said he did lead all scorers today and scored 26 of the 72 points for Wartburg. #11 Justes is really the key to this team and with his ankle injury in the sub-state game he is about 2 steps slower than usual. Clarkrange did a good job of trying to contain Fountain but the Dawgs have alot of other weapons.

      A perfect example is for athletes at Clinton High School. I will completely understand, and hopefully everyone should understand why they want to, and as of right now, it looks like that’s going to happen in numbers over the summer.

      I mean, that’s easy to say when it hasn’t happened to your school that often, if at all, but yeah, I think everybody should be for the student athlete or player. Whatever they think will help them or their athletic career, I feel like they should be able to do that, even if that means transferring schools. Now I don’t really get that when you have almost every offer you could want and then jump ship, but what can I say? I guess money talks.

      Covid killed the city because they chose not to play football in the 2020 season. Therefore, kids weren't able to practice and develop, and continuing to lift weights. Memphis basically had 7/8 graders, skipping a year, then playing 9/10 high school football. Now, there's only one team that has made a "dent" which will be Southwind (made it to the 5A semifinals last year).  If you want to go more suburbs, then it'll be Houston, which won the 6A state title, defeating Oakland Other than that, I agree.

      It will be hard opening up a restaurant and coaching a High School Football team at the same time but he did take this job as an interm coach to stop the bleed. The program is in scorched earth mode right now and could drop down to the likes of Scott County, Campbell County and Karns if they lose most of their kids out of this.
