I'll take Sizemore, Bailey, and Cunningham of WH-Heritage against them any day. Can't wait to see that match up.

Saunders? Darden? Both fine players but don't disrepect or overlook Nick Young of Greenbrier and Dillon White of Westmoreland. Both of them will be putting up about 20 a night this fall.

You guys better stick with trashing the Cheatham County Board.

Cheatham will dominate this district next year. Saunders and Darden will be the 2 best players period. Harlan will also be the best pg in the district. They lose depth and a great senior class, but those 3 guys will be unstoppable against this competition if they stay healthy. Everybody else is playing for 2nd.

This isn't single a buddy. Saunders was district and region MVP as a junior against better competition. Darden is more athletic than anyone in this district and it ain't even close. Cheatham destroyed White House with Sizemore last year and went 5-0 vs Harpeth and Sycamore. They beat a top 5 single a team on the road by 40(Watertown) and just missed out on a trip to Murfreesboro. They also beat teams such as: Franklin, Rossview, Waverly(twice), Giles, Spring Hill, and Ravenwood. Not saying there aren't some good players on other teams, but this new district is weak compared to what they faced last year. Keep dreaming- Cheatham is clearly the class of this district despite their losses to graduation. You will find out this winter that I speak the truth.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, so to speak, as I'm not associated with Cheatham or any 9AA team, but let's face it, 9AA is not very strong. Sure, there are good players. Nick Young is terrific and a couple of the WHH players that play for the AAU Thunder squad are decent, but that doesn't make their teams competitive. Harpeth and Sycamore haven't looked very good at team camps this week (even though they each have a player who should be among the best in the district). Cheatham should cruise until they confront the 10AA teams.

Cheatham County wins the district hands down. Stuart is the head coach and he was the assistant under Jackson, Stigall, and Dawson prior to taking the job. He played at CCCHS and has been a part of the program as a coach for 10 years. Saunders, Darden, and Harlan are poised for huge years. The supporting cast of McGowan, Boyd, and Shelton have been a part of it for 2 years and will play a larger role this year. Goode and Douglas are both very talented young guys who'll be in line to see time this year. The Cubs will go 8-9 deep this year and make one more run at the state. After this upcoming season the talent level will drop and they'll be in rebuilding mode again with Goode & Douglas leading the way BUT in 2013-2014 the Cubs will once again be on the level that's produced a 51-10 overall record with 2 district titles these past 2 seasons.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
