2013 Loretto Football

Does anybody out there know how the scrimmage went Friday night with Zion Christian Academy? I cannot find out any information on it.

 Believe Loretto's starters scored on every possession. Know they scored 5 times. Loretto"s B-team had 2 possessions and scored once. Zion may have gained 30yards in a 10 play series against the B-team but LHS starters stoned Zion. Not sure Zion had 50yards in 6 series' against them.

Thanks for the info. How did running game look? Did Loretto Pass the ball much? How did the QB look given the injury from last year? Sounds like the defense is solid.

Not sure if it was every possession, but they did do pretty good.  Zion was much smaller than Loretto and had only maybe 8 kids on the sideline.  Running game looked really good as did the passing game.  Not sure that we had an incompletion.  I know we had two passing TD's and the rest was on the ground via RB and QB.  Rosson looked really good at QB as did Neese RB.  Blocking looked good also.  Loretto's starting Defense didnt let anything go through nor did the 2nd string or 3rd, or 4th.  Zion was just way undersized for running.  Loretto's pass defense looked much improved from last year.  Lots of things looked good but Loretto also has some things they need to work out before to the season really starts.

East Hickman

Had at least 2 incompletions where Rosson threw back to the field while running to the boundary. Lucky those weren't picks. Overall, they were solid. Play Friday night against East Hickman in the jamboree at Hickman Co.

2 incompletions are not bad. Sounds like the QB had a good game. Good to hear the defense is solid and looking for folks to hit!

Whats your big boys up front looking like this year?

Up front the boys look pretty good.  Didnt really lose much on either side of the line from last year.  Did lose the nose gaurd, although undersized, he did do a good job.
