I'm just curious as to how Humboldt is ranked 3rd in Single A after defeating both teams ahead of them? Humboldt plays in a tougher district/region and had played and beat more ranked teams.

Don't sweat the ranking,it's a blessing.Motivation plays a big part in being competitive in any sport,and the Vikings were served a double portion of it.

The rankings on this site are based on a formula. They are not always right, but most of the time they are dead on. It's not just picked by coacht.

No formula would work out that way. Neither team should have been ranked higher even before Humboldt beat them. Just look at the schedules..
