Goodpasture would be the regular season champ in that case and the #1 seed and the rest would be determined by their standings against each other.

 

The District would vote on how the Tournament would be seeded........Goopasture would not automatically get the #1 Seed.

 

The right thing to do is.....Make Trousdale the #6 seed, the other 5 teams play their district schedule for the other 5 remaining spots, making the games played against Trousdale not count toward District standings. The District could vote to make that happen and really is the fairest way.

Not fair to TC... especially if we beat RBS,H20, Gville, and Merroll Hyde when we play them...our 2 forfeits vs GP shouldn't affect anyone but us. Its 2 losses for us...2 wins for GP...1-0 snitches...what the big deal...bunch of friggin crybaby, whiny cowards.

Oh and by the way......i have never seen district seedings be voted on...ever...someone tell me who else does that? SEC? NFL? Who?

 

May be one of the dumbest rules ever...but this is of course TSSAA...our finest.

Trousdale Superintendent Satterfield informed Goodpasture yesterday that they will not be playing them in any sport but football. How cowardly of an act is this? It is not like Goodpasture is a CPA or Ensworth type school. Plus the fact that Trousdale has no issues playing smaller DII schools they think they might be able to hammer. This is a pathetic and weak showing by a community that prides itself on its athletics.
