HV,

Great job on your website! How do these numbers stack up against previous years? I noticed on T1 board that someone had asked about Jeramy Laster and Ahmir Watkins. Do you have any word on what they are going to do? Are either one looking at juco for a possible year of college ball before going pro? Do you think either will be drafted this year? Both are phenominal players and I know there are others that may not have commited to anything at this time. Just curious if anyone knows of players that aren't listed.

lobo,

I haven't heard about the intentions from Jeramy Laster and Ahmir Watkins, but speed is something that is God given and both players are well blessed. According to their T1 scores, they both may well be TeamOne's highest rated pro potential from Tennessee.

I take everything with a grain of salt though, if you look at the 12 high school players from the 2002 Tennessee class that were drafted, TeamOne only had 6 players listed on their service. Heck, that means TeamOne missed half the Tennessee players drafted last year in their projections. We shouldn't feel so bad when we try to look at talent.

As you know 2002 was a banner year for baseball talent in our state and I think we had 40+ players commit/sign in the early period. In this years 2003 class, I have 22 commit/sign that I'm aware of to date. From the numbers, I would suspect 4 to 5 Tennessee high school players will be drafted this year. 9 of the 12 drafted 2002 players had pitching experience and it seems that the 2003 Tennessee high school class of pitchers is not nearly so highly regarded.

Baseball/America had 44 Tennessee players listed in the last 2002 high school class I saw and the 2003 Tennessee high school class has 15 players listed. 4 to 5 players may be a stretch, but I would like to think there are some players that the scouts see something special in. ;)

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
