I know Dyersburg and Kingsbury have been usuals at the state tournament the past few years, but what is everyone's prediction on who will make it this year from west tennessee?

LOL! Lemme tell ya! Dyersburg will NOT be at State this year. We will be lucky to make it through Regional Semi's tonite. After losing so many seniors last year this year has definitely been a rebuilder and a disappointment to say the least. Injuries have also been a huge issue.

I am gonna go ahead and make a prediction. It will be Crockett and Obion Central going to Region 7 finals with the surprise winner being Obion Central. I do not even know who they would play in sectionals so can't make any calls there.

Wow dyersburg loses in the region semifinal to crockett county. This doesn't sound like the dyersburg soccer squad we've seen the past few years

Both games were amazing Milan lost in double OT and the Crockett defense shut d-burg down. Dyersburg had 4 or 5

Corners in the last 2 minutes they didn't score on. Also the Obion/Milan game was crazy noone deserved to lose that one. Milan's Kunal Patel had a bicycle kick with 4 minutes left, and the bulldogs keeper battle hard all game

I'm gonna take Crockett to win the Region and most likely make the tournament. Any news out of regio 8?

Crockett has an outstanding back defender, #12, that is hard to beat. The game between Crockett and Obion will be a hard fought one for sure. Lots of fan support on both sides. That being said I do not think either will make it out of sub-state just because the other region has a much tougher schedule and are hard to beat.

 

Hate D-burg lost but I am glad to see other schools in the West developing their programs. I think it is good for the West that Westview and Dyersburg aren't the only ones ever representing.

Couldn't agree with you more guys. Hard fought battle in both region semi games. I'm going to predict crockett wins the region final 4-1. Does anyone know who the possible substate teams will be for crockett and obion?

on the other side I THINK it is Lexington VS TCA (who last time they played went 2-2) and then Kingsbury VS Sheffield. I think Lexington may take their game and who knows with Kingsbury v Sheffield.

yea JOE23 is right they should be two tough games from R8 I don;t know much from D16 besides the constancy of Kingsbury, those games are on the 14th (when Crockett plays Obion) on the 16thy is the R8 championship. Is Crockett vs Obion still @ Milan?

Region 7 was very tough this year Obion, Crockett, Milan, Dyersburg, South Gibson, Westview, and both Peabody and Covington had strong 2nd halves. I know we at SGC are returning all but 1 starter. What about the other teams?
