Yes that is true about the quality of teams you play will determine how good you are. I think Upperman has proven they can beat good teams, as Danial Boone comes to mind. I also think when you have one pitcher to carry the load you can't play the top teams all season long, you have to win your district, Region, sectional and state and everything else is just gravey. It looks like that is what Upperman is trying to do, I guess we will see if they get it done.

The R4AA championship was a battle of pitching styles. Finess vs power. The Bledsoe pitcher has the best fastball that I have seen all year. The Upperman pitcher has more control. The game came down to a bunt by the shortstop to get on and a long single by the first baseman to bring the shortstop home.

I was going to say that it looks like a new rivalry may be forming between Bledsoe and Upperman but, I think a rivalry requires both teams having wins against each other?

Upperman has proved withthis year and last, they can play with anyone in the state. I they are loaded with Juniors and Sophamores. I think their all start pitcher is a Junior

Easy Rusty, Bledsoe beat Upperman two years ago in the region. They are a very good team with an excellent pitcher. The Lady Bees just got the break either team needed last night, could have very easily gone the other way. Great game by two good teams
