UPSGregg
Gone are the days when Clarksville was considered a baskteball town. You used to be able to count on Clarksville, Northeast, or Northwest having a shot at winning the region and maybe advancing past sub state. Now it seems all the teams are just average mediocre teams. What happened???
mchsballer
i think its the fact that we live in the boondox and noone really cares anymore.also talent and heart has decreased.
TnBball
With me being a Clarksville Grad and playing with two of the city's and schools best players (Shawn Marion and Trenton Hassell)..I honestly think that the Clarksville High players are underacheiving. Its not that they dont have the talent to continue the tradition but they just arent getting the job done. Overall the talent from the kids are there, there will NEVER, NEVER be a situation where we'll have a Shawn Marion, Trenton Hassell, and Marques Maybin in the same span again. Those caliber of players are through walking through Clarksville..However I think the Brandon Burneys, Antwon Harris', and Quinn Bradleys can hold it down. Like I've said all along Class of 2004 is very special. just look: Quinn Bradley, Devon Bracy, and Demetrius Ogburn (Clarksville High) Tre Trotter,DJ Dallas(Rossview High) Brandon Burney(Mont. Central) Antwon Harris, Micheal Suggars(Kenwood High) Graylin Tuck(Northeast) Will Newell,Quintin Partee, Kevin Townley(Northwest)
mchsballer
maybe its not that we havent had talent, but most of those who do,dont know(or care)what they do with it,and thats sad.
