Greeneville always recruits well. They particularly favor South Greene and Cocke Co players. If I'm not mistaken, the best RB in the IMAC played for Cocke Co. Well until now. He thoroughly enjoyed his recruiting visit and tour of the devil campus/facilities. Consequently, he will be wearing green his senior year. Great pickup by the greeneville staff.

It's a crying shame that Alcoa wouldn't play you guys and you had to go all the way up to KY to find a game.

Yes I know .. its only hurting their gate .. how many fans do you think the Lancaster team wil bring to Alcoa ?? Team only had 20 players last year I think .. Fulton would have brought a good crowd .. but Rankin used an excuse and wouldnt play ... seems like to me if ya wanted to get even them beat somebody ... he didnt want to play cause 9-1 looks better than 8-2 .. and we know if it was up too him he wouldnt play Maryville either but there's NO WAY he could bail out on that one. Rankin is arrogant and cocky from what I have heard from locals.

I know a local from Greene Co and he can tell some stories on how kids and parents have been wooed .. but with it being open zone and how they recruit from outside counties. They have no excuse for not being good ... they get real defensive when you mention it .. its called guilt .

Agree or disagree like or dislike those 2 teams (2011-Greeneville, 2010-Greeneville) did what nobody had done in East Tn in 40 years and that was put a gold ball in the trophy case and rings on fingers.
