Best programs in Sumner County

Here is an interesting debate: rank the best football programs in Sumner County based on the following:

State titles, facilities, coaches, fans, and administration.

 

Mine would be: Beech, White House, Gallatin, Hendersonville, Portland, Westmoreland, Station Camp

SC would at least be in front of Westmoreland! Can't argue with the rest of your rankings.

Cougar, program is still too young. Won't be long though once they get some postseason success..

currently the best administration would be Hendersonville. Best Coaching staff would be Beech. Best Facilities would have to be Gallatin, given their huge weightroom and indoor training facilities, although Hville also has nice facilities. Most state titles? Gallatin has 3 titles and 5 appearances. But Beech has 2 recent titles. Fan base? currently Beech. but when Gallatin is having good seasons, they have the biggest crowds.

although there are other good programs within Sumner County, the above 3 teams mentioned will be the top three teams year in and year out during most seasons.

...I think Gallatin is 3-3 in state title games...won 1978, 42-13 @ Red bank , lost 1982 13-10 to Lincoln co , lost 1987 28-10 to Jefferson co , won 1989 19-9 Oakland , lost 1991 0-30 to Oakridge, won 1992 21-13 Clinton..Be nice to know total wins and losses of all the teams in 9AAA..But do agree on the rest of this post !

I'm glad to know I'm wrong about 5 state appearances. 6 is even better! Let's make it 7 soon hopefully, sad part is, I can name 3 teams in the last 10 years that could've made the next stride to a 7th state game, but things didn't bounce in favor of the Wave when it comes to playoff scheduling.
