The balls are thumping across the state.  Now that we are back to the real season.....how are the balls thumping in these two districts.  Anything new emerging that we didn't see earlier?

Quieter that the fellowship of church mice.....!  OK I'll humor everyone.  Oneida involved in a playday this past Saturday at C-Range.  Results were mixed....there was plenty of good/plenty of bad and little bit of everything.  Coach West played everyone so he was probably acknowledging what players he is going to work with by throwing them all out there.  They lost both games (Bad), but he will be able to define roles a little better after this (good).  Look forward to seeing the rest of ya!!!!

What is Oneida like personel wise this year?

They have most of the team back.  Return several inside players and are trying to find the best combo of players outside, but they have several to choose from that have good upsides.  Little small outside, but very quick and they shoot it pretty well.  Of course that didn't happen Saturday, but I think they will come along as the season goes forward.

Have any other Region 2 teams played yet?

Played a very solid Smith Co team and then had a somewhat disappointing showing against White Co.  Have some more scrimmages on tap before we start season next week with Will-Blount.

The lady Indians open their season tonight against AAA William Blount in a HOF Game.  Good luck to the team...!

Grace opens with their HOF game on Sat. 11/16 at Grace.  It will be a rematch of last years Sub-State Sectional game. Should be a great game with both teams returning the same players from last year. Grace did not play well in that game last year and expect to do much better this time around.

Hampton has some injuries right now so Grace should be ok, but you never know, There was a reason Grace played bad last time, Hampton made them. Great early season matchup.
