Baylor vs Ensworth

Watching the Baylor vs. Ensworth game online tonight and it just went to half. Baylor leads 9-0 thanks to 3 FGs by a very talented Baylor kicker who ended the first half with a 49 yarder. Baylor is playing inspired ball so far.

 

I have to say, I haven't seen Ensworth play this year, but their on-field demeanor is unusual to me. Do they always play with very little emotion? Not much energy to be seen. Maybe this is how they play, very business-like with little emotion. If so, it certainly has worked for them obviously, but tonight after seeing them so far, it just struck me as odd compared to any other high school teams I've seen play.

I was thinking the same thing... Honesty they look cold . I have watched them play many games and you are right... No fire in that first half. Maybe they are not worried ... I would be. I am sure that's not a fun locker room at this moment.

Ensworth showing more fire in the second half... Just took the lead after a horrible interception just thrown by the Baylor QB deep in the own territory.

I'm at a Halloween party and sneaking away to check scores. Was the absence of Ferby the main cause of Ensworth's offensive stagnancy?

Regardless Ensworth looked very beatable tonight.  Should be very interesting next week....
