Hick was a beast in the second half and the line played much better, still not where they have been, but netter. Hicks made some good throws as well, Foust played well, just hate that he fumbled going in to score. Johnson and Strickland were also solid as usual. We will need a perfect game to keep up with West next week and we still might not pull that one off, that is a very good team. The trick play on 4th and long was huge, well designed and executed. I think it is well deserved by the coaching staff to give a big shoutout, Davey has accomplished a few things that have never been done before by an AC coach, 5 years in a row makin it to the playoffs with 3 o those years making it to the quarterfinals. Davey has amased 40 wins in 5 years and it took 6 for Kerr to get to that number. Great job

I agree fballcrazy. I think Fox going out as crazy as it sounds was actually detrimental to SD. They obviously weren't ready for Hicks and the option in the 2nd half.

Definitely not what I projected but a win is a win. SD was better than I thought and Bruce is a stud. Maybe just me but I think Fox not playing in the second half may have been an advantage for AC. SD wasn't ready for that second half offense. Hicks is a stud too.

Great job AC coaches and players! Very proud of you. Outstanding halftime adjustments. Overcoming Fox's absence in the second half speaks volumes about this team. Good teams win despite adversity. Good job Davey.

Congratulations to Coach Duncan on a well played game. Those players have nothing to hold there heads down about. Great sportsmanship team.

 

Wow where does anyone begin. Trailing 21-7 Coach Gillum and staff made adjustments in the second half that blew my mind. The defense pretty much shut down SD. The offense had a new crew and attacked SD in a different way. That was some quick and accurate thinking by the staff.

This AC team is special, to say the least. We have players all over the field. The OL the DL, Hicks Johnson I would have to go all night. This is a well balanced well coached and well disciplined team and congratulations to each and everyone of them. These guys truly play as a team like Mr. Fox said and our prayers are with Matt that he is ok and nothing permanent.

It was a totally different atmosphere when the normal PA guy showed up. He definitely helps. Not sure why he was late but he better not let it happen again lol

Yea, I told him next week I was going to pick him up....It was funny because AC was looking real bad and the fans were flat then all of a sudden you hear that voice come over the PA and it lit a fire under the AC faithful which I beleive sparked a little energy in te players. He better be there early next week LOL

Those are some fantastic accomplishments! We are fortunate to have him. We need to bring a great crowd next Friday and keep the place rockin!
