I've heard the rumor like many people have but I haven't heard it in a while. I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that once a coach was hired at Powell that getting Middleton to stay would be his top priority. Did you hear or read this recently?

I just read on Oak Ridge Today that the school board approved over $450,000 for replacing the bleachers. So much for "there's no money" bladerunner, especially since they approved over $1.5 million for some kind of technology. We are spending quite a bit for a system that has no money! The bad news is that since the bleachers have received so much attention, the season is bound to be a failure! LOL

The article I just read said they were being reduced from 3400 to 2000
