Beech and mount Juliet faced off . Beech won very easily . Wilkins pins Hackett at 126 pound weight class. Both wrestlers weighed in at 124. !st period pin . The last time they faced off Hackett won by 1 point decision. They will see each other again this week. Great win for my kid. Now we just got to see if it was a fluke or not.

My boy has practiced 5 times this year and just practiced an hour and a half of basketball prior to the ride over. He was rusty and the other kid didn't have anything. We will see when they meet up again. Maybe next time the coaches won't be a sore loser and will tell the kid good match when he goes to shake their hands.

You are right though oldblazedad. He isn't used to wrestling schools like yours. He wrestled against Brandon and Osceola and those type of wrestlers. Haha. Once in an event. Would be like not knowing who Lebron is and talking trash after he beat you in a one on one.
