  1. If you are talking about the stalling on bottom from Hagey, I agree. However, if I was wrestling a guy that ran bars like Josh Hamilton, I would stall too. It was a great match. They have wrestled four times. Josh has won 3 of 4. All except the first one. I will be very surprised if Hagey does not win the D2 state title. He is a fine young man.
  2. A thankless job Coach Bray. Thanks for attempting and giving us all an early read.
  3. You can bet that Coach Yost will set the best pools possible.
  4. Thank you glc for your comment regarding Josh Hamilton. There is no question that he is a beast, and I wish that I would have been half of the fine young man that he is at his age. That kid is going places. His Dad.
  5. Michael "Murph" Murphy is the man at 106, Parrish takes 145 although he may have lost a step or two since the drop, and Popp takes Hattaway any day of the week. Just my $0.02.
  6. Haden Hamilton is the man at 132...he will leave no doubt in anyone's mind. Just my $0.02.
  7. Rob - your son is a stud! Nothing wrong with coming home again. He is a lot of fun to watch on the mat. As one Dad to another, just love and support him. He is going places! G.
  8. Cleveland only had one put out while the other had an injury default.
  9. I am itching to but can't just yet. Sources suggest that several are in the wrong weight class and a couple of significant guys won't be on the mat this year.
  10. Interesting prognostication but all wrong except for a couple of spots. However, I do appreciate the early read with all of its risks and respect the step out there.
  11. I was told this summer that Keagan would be at 60 and that he wishes he had stayed there last year as he had teched the guy who won the state at 60 earlier in the year. Sounds like maybe you have heard something more recent though?
  12. Where can the article be viewed/read?
  13. They will see all of the above as they do every year except for possibly MBA. Not sure what MBA's schedule looks like?
  14. The big man Bruno is my pick at HWT. We went to nationals with him this summer and he was the only kid in the entire tournament to pin through. Go Bruno!
  15. I think WV should see significant improvement this year v. last year's finish at 22nd. I have known several of the kids since they were in short pants and call their parents friends. I just couldn't figure out how they could get to 5th. However, a finish in the 10-14 range would be about a 50% improvement and something the program could be very proud of.
  16. I am not sure if they are all going, but they could see each other as early as the UTC duals on 12/1.
  17. Sells should be in the hunt at 160. I heard that he and Matlock had a battle at the 32 qualifier. Sells came up short 6-4.
  18. Lopez and West should be exciting to watch. With or without these two studs, this Cleveland team at least appears to be the best top to bottom to ever pass through the old english C. I like your predictions above but find myself wondering how WV gets to 5. I think they finished last year tied for 22nd, and I don't know of any new impact guys? Just wondering?
  19. Are we sure the seeds listed are accurate? It looks like a couple of the guys are possibly reversed such as Lamb and Satterfield from Cookeville. Just wanted to make sure?
  20. Can anyone post the results by weight class?
  21. How about the battle up in Cleveland tonight? I was very impressed with the Purple Pounder team. Very tough kids!
  22. Did not mean to slight Da Bears in anyway. We enjoy your posts very much. It was a great match, and both teams and coaches showed the class anyone would expect from these two great programs.
