CleveBear
Congrats to the raiders. They have a deep and talented team. Just a question, who is their coach? I thought it was Jake Yost, but I swear Eric Phillips was doing all the coaching the other night. He's a very good coach, I just didn't know if he has taken back over or not. Sommers
Well, did you ever watch the singing cowboy along with pat Simpson? How bout Shane Turner along with Steve Henry back in the day?

DaisyMay
No, not really like Coach Jackson, or Coach Henry. They each moved on to their new positions and allowed the new Coach to assume full leadership of the Wrestling team. While Coach Phillips is the A.D., he also wants to remain the Alpha Male on the CHS Coaching staff. Don't listen to me. Just go to any Big event and watch. fooseball96
The whole point behind making Yost head coach was to keep him at cleveland. If not it was a matter of time before he got another job. Plus after debien moves on to UTC, phillips will probably be done with coaching to be able to watch chris. rlwest40
I'm sure Coach Phillips and Yost could best answer those questions.
DaisyMay
Oh!.. I knew for a Fact that he was VERY HIGH on the list to take over for Coach Henry at his alma mater, where he would have actually been recognized as the Head Coach. Do you think he realized that he would temporarily be a Puppet at Cleveland, just to keep him away from Soddy until the Raiders actually needed him? I mean, maybe he did. Maybe he enjoys looking at Phillips back during these dual meets.
DaisyMay
And..Knowing Coach Yost, his low key manner and respect for Coach Phillips, I doubt he would publicly comment, even if he was bothered by it.

rlwest40
Says a lot about your character then don't it, since you're the one publicly disrespecting some great coaches and individuals out of jealousy just to stir the pot. Obviously you haven't been to enough of Cleveland's practices or matches or parent meetings to understand anything about what you're talking about or have the slightest idea of Coach Yost's view of his role at Cleveland. Cleveland has an outstanding group of coaches, wrestlers, parents, and supporters from the ground up. I'm just thankful that there's not people like you involved with our program to cause inner turmoil, glad its coming from the outside. There's always haters when you're at the top.
