Polk signed a scholarhip with prestigious Lincoln Trail JC (IL), but never showed up at school. He is currently not going to school anywhere, but has plans of enrolling at Vol State in January, and then playing ball for Vol State next year on scholarship........... Best of luck to Polk, who was one of the better High School ball players of the past few years in TN......

Gomab, I respect your opinions, but I saw Polk at the state tourney last year, and he looked awfully LAZY on the defensive end, and loved to snowbird. Really didn't feel like he was a stud, just bigger bodied than most of the guards he played against.

By the way, Westview has a little guard that might not get alot of points, but will run the offense very well, Westview is probably a 2 man show with several athletes to fill the other 3 slots. Anyway, his name is Jason Black....Keep up the good work, and by the way, glad you realized that Trey Pearson was a stud !!!!!! :D

No doubt about Pearson.... He was my #1 player in the STATE....

AS for Polk, I have seen him more than probably anyone, and I know he can PLAY.... He is mega-talented, and has shown up some of the better guards in the nation, including 39 points against Andre Allen and 33 points vs Cincinnati starting PG Chadd Moore (via Oak Hill)..... Polk is a major gamer.....

Also, I have heard from an inside source that Jeremy Hunt will Start at U. Memphis from the get-go....

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
