I just saw that at the end of the kentucky state duals the winners of their two divisions

small school (union co) and large school (st. xavier) wrestled each other.

union county won.

I think the Coaches just voted to make a brand new state tournament for the small schools in our state for the Individual. It would be a worse beat down than what WC just got. I cant understand y people scream for separation then want to beg to prove themselves...........a crazy world we live in. Bearcat, I like the way u talk. Mike, I voted Donavan MVP...I had to do a double take when I saw that name.......Soms, wanted to give it to Tate....just another reason for us chattanoogans to look at him funny. One year he's screaming Hixsons fight song, next hes a Blazer...now a darn Wildcat. Soms is bipolar. Go scratch something Soms....., all in good fun. I sure have missed all you guys. Good Luck at state.

My bad coyote, worth the money to watch but people were screaming to separate them too. Ive always been for our states best wrestlers to ...........wrestle. You kinda feel cheated as a fan. I know plenty of young men that could go toe to toe with wrestlers from a larger school or a more funded school but in the name of fairness? More happy folks what we need or coaches feeling like their time is not going to waste by never winning.....our state sorry to say doesn't have the depth to need all these divisions. Anyway its done. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

So you're attempting to justify the shouting and taunting directed toward the underage cheerleaders by the Ravenwood fans with your opinion that cheerleaders should not be able to sit in the stands?

 

Cheerleaders were not allowed on the 'field of play' or the floor until the finals. I still don't understand your logic that cheerleaders should not be allowed to sit in the stands, I guess the student section shouldn't be allowed to sit in the stands either. if you didn't enjoy the match then I'm sure it wasn't because of the cheerleaders.

 

You're not alone with that type of self-centered reasoning because there are many who like to trash talk but do not like to be called on it when its not backed up. This thread will attest to that simple fact. Your post is further proof.

 

Your coach was closest to the score table and had the best view of the table and which wrestlers were being sent. How exactly did this interfere with his ability to manage his team? If a coach continues to approach the table to argue the same point 4 times in a row then yes the team can be penalized. The referee was lenient toward your coach and team. Show us in the rule book that says your opponents cannot stand up in a line before each match?

You obviously have some reading comprehension issues. I simply stated that I don't support having cheerleaders from the stands, I said nothing about justifying trash talking. Maybe you shouldn't be so sensitive. Did you address it at the match, or do you only address things behind your computer on your keyboard? You sound more like a keyboard jockey since you have no problem leveling baseless accusations. I'm pretty sure if the things you stated were true, the Sherriff's department would come down and say something to those "trash talking" adults. Did that happen?

As far as the Ravenwood coach goes, you'd have to address that directly with him, but I have to ask, did your coach say anything to the refs, or is it just you that was bugged about it and so you come on here running your mouth?

 

Again, if you were a true fan of your team you'd be spending your time talking about their performance on the mat, not some obviously trivial garbage.

If a coach continues to interfere with the progress of a dual match by approaching the score table complaining about the same thing repeatedly then yes a team point can be deducted from his team. Especially when the case he is arguing isn't even a rule. Apparently he was the one that was 'bugged and running his mouth'.

So you're now denying the actions of the Ravenwood fans toward the CHS cheerleaders implying that I made it up?

 

My bad, I shouldn't have mentioned it. Apparently bringing it up is worse than the act itself.
