kwc
Amazing run in the Nike Elite Youth Baskeball Leage (EYBL) in Augusta, SC. One of the most prestigious summer basketball events of the year. Big-time college program coaches come to this event every year to evaluate elite talent. Losing in the finals 85- 83 on a technical foul call is a tough pill to swallow, but you did great! Congrats to coach Anfernee Hardaway, coach Todd Day, and all of the coaches involved in having such an impact on developing these youung men. Getting to the finals of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam is OUTSTANDING! Congrats to the Team Penny team and to the young Memphians on this roster in particular, Diedric Lawson (Hamilton), KJ Lawson (Hamilton), Nych Smith (White Station), Dillon Mitchell (White Station), Tarrance Baker (Hamilton), Donte Fitzpatrick (White Station), Justin Small (Mem. East), Paul Washington (Memphian in Texas). Although KeVaughn Allen is a native of North Little Rock ... playing on Team Penny makes him an honorary Mempnian for this occasion ... LOL! (The young man verballed to play at Florida to play for Billy Donovan. He is a baller!) Galilee
Very proud of those young men. I hate they had to lose in that fashion. Memphis basketball rules. This year will be good also. Mitchell, White Station, Douglass, East, and Ridgeway should be state contenders.
