how did the teams look? I saw where PCsupp posted in another thread, but havn't seen anything about the other games.

I didn't get to go but I read the CDH staff reports.

Columbia Academy beat Spring Hill 25-14...... CA rallied back from a 14-12 deficit to win. Read that CA is throwing and receiving well with a balanced run. QB Cary threw to Thompson (22 yard TD pass; first score) and Elliot (30 yard TD pass; 3rd score) for big gains and scores. Thompson recovered a fumble on defense and ran in for 2nd score. Foster ran a TD in at the last minute.

MP did not have a good showing. Lost 21-7 against Middle Tn. Christian.... MP read in the article to have ball control issues, misreads in plays with several turnovers and the Tiger D had no answers for MTC offense as the new MP coach said that MTC's no huddle offense caught them off guard and wasn't planned for.... The only score for MP came from QB Crawford launching himself over the goaline near the end of the game.

Perry Co. beat Zion Christian 6-0.

It read to be a battle of Defenses with neither team sustaining long drives. Perry Co. was able to capitalize on a turn over by Zion with short yardage to find the end zone. Dolten Forrester and Zach Pepin made up Perry Co.'s rushing attack. Pepin scored the lone TD from six yards out in the second quarter.... Zion's QB Delozier hit Fresh. WR Mc Clain for a 42 yarder but it read that Zion's offense struggled at times with getting the ball from Center to QB with Zion's offensive line not giving good protection for Delozier for most of the game.

If Mt Pleasant gets things together they could turns heads. They had several fumbles, QB is still not 100% and they get after yeah on the defensive side of the ball. They could be a sleeper

You know I hope you're 100% correct.... But ball control help lead them to a 4-6 season last year. One would think those boys would have it under control by now.

Is stick-um legal in HS?.... lol.
