Adamsville was led by Todd Hockaday with 17 carrys for 91 yards while Jake Gilchrist was 12-35 passing for 174 yards.

Lewis County was hampered by penalties at the most inopportune moments in the first half especially. They were penalized 10 times for 92 yards, including a roughing the kicker foul which led to an Adamsville score.

Give the Cardinals credit for never quitting. The Panthers kept pounding the football with success but Adamsville kept trying to answer until the fourth quarter when I felt the depth of Lewis County finally wore them down. The penalties were a letdown for the Panthers but offensively, everything else clicked with precision.

Dailey, a senior fullback, now has 1180 yards rushing on the year while Sharp has 652, Skelton 649, McKnight 474, Booker 405 and Sowell 231. The Panthers have rushed for 3787 yards on the season, an average of 343 yards per game!

Sharp is 35 of 62 passing (56.6%) for 564 yards, 7 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. Brad Kellogg has caught 26 for 388 yards while Staggs has 7 for 188 and Nathan Henley 3 for 70.

Sharp has punted 16 times for a 42.6 yard average.

Thanks guys! Looking at the matchups between the sister regions, it was pretty amazing to see how evenly matched the two were. Fairview over Huntingdon by 1, Riverside over Loretto by 3 and KcKenzie over Waverly by 6.. and our game was closer than the 25 point differential. I am not one who makes predictions but I will be that Lewis County is gonna be really geared up for next week's rematch with Riverside!
