Thought you guys down in McNairy Co would want to know a lot of football to be played up here yet for quad positioning... Eagleville MTCS game this week then MTCS Forrest in week 9... Playoff implications for placement loom... MTCS is a lot like TCA in that they'll sling it all over the field... Forrest and Eagleville just solid blue collar clubs with a lot of big game experience... Should be a fun stretch. Who wins TCA ECS?

yes still a lot of football to be played but only thing that really changes is who gets what seed.  if mtcs wins district then everything goes about like i have it above.  another fly in the ointment is if forrest doesnbt finish second.  if they become a wc they could fall all the way to a 4 seed. 

 

i know you have better grasp on those teams than i do so how do you see the district finishing up.  It could get real interesting over there in your district

Honestly, I think MTCS is good but haven't played a lot of competition... You can check the schedule and see... I think they will beat Eagleville, lose to Forrest and Huntland... That would put Huntland 1 (Class A) Forrest 2... It would make MTCS then 3 and Eagleville 4... What would then happen with placement in your opinion?

If that happens you will see the quad like I posted. Eagleville then becomes the fly in the ointment. I am not at my computer but eagleville finishes anything worse than 6-4 they stay home. Then mtcs would possibly fall back to quad 3

Good analysis... It'll be interesting to see how bubble teams in east fair the last 3 weeks also... Silverdale, Watertown, etc... That could push teams east as you have stated... If you check out the DNJ sports page in Murfreesboro, I would think at some point this week, they'll run a projection for 2A... They did one for 6A this morning.

Forrest lost to an excellent Adamsville team in last year's playoffs. 

 

It was 13-7 when the worst DPI of all time gave Adamsville, who hadn't  gotten a first down in several drives, the ball inside the 10. It was the most egregious of referee errors. And I hate blaming refs. 

 

Adamsville deserved the win and were the better team. I don't think they were 26-7 better. 

 

I think Adamsville can absolutely win the whole thing this year.

 

I don't think it's necessary to make the twinkie comments. Forrest is a growing program.  

 

I respect Adamsville a lot. Forrest would be EXTREMELY hyped to get a shot at them.

The twinkie comments are not thrown at Forrest at all. They are making note that this quad will not have any district champs. Hopefully we will meet means both are playing deep into the playoffs
