12-2 is bad? And only losing to state champion Riverdale 42-28 is bad? Pretty good year if you ask me lol They went 11 straight games without giving up more than 7 points and we put up 28 on them.

 

Not a bad season(a very good season by the way) by Oak Ridge but a bad loss to Riverdale giving up 42 points

No kidding! They demolished everyone and were highly ranked nationwide, but ok Big D lol

Not to mention the 'Cats avenged their lone regular season loss in the quarterfinals (in both 2003 and 2004, no less). Those D-B teams were tough to beat.

 

Oak Ridge did better against Riverdale than anyone else did that year, much like the hard-fought 21-7 game between those teams in 1994.

Very true. I was on the 94 team. That Riverdale team was unreal. Like a small college team. We were tough as nails that year, too.
