Yes, wife got a job somewhere in Nashville and Loftis took the QB at Gallatin. They bumped his head assistant into the head coach job.

Jackson Co 0 Smith Co 0 after 1st, JC 0 SC 12 end of 2nd. Smith not real big but pretty quick. Defense had some holes at defensive back. Offense looked pretty balance. Need to get the bad snaps fixed.

LA 7 UH 0 1st, LA 7 UH 7 end of 2nd. Both teams pentalized a lot on offense. UH run defense looked suspect to start, but got better. LA looked to be over all slightly better....Linder the best kid on the field. QB Watt and RB Butler for UH looked good.

YAI has Coalfield

Anyone know how this one turned out? How did coalfield look? We play them in two weeks. Thanks.

Coalfield was up 34-0 at one point. I think the varsity scored every time they had the football. Don't know what it ended up being left early. Was told York scored a couple late ones.

Sequatchie JV over Marion 6-0 and tied Bledsoe 0-0. Grundy lost to SPitt 14-0 and tied Lookout Valley 0-0. Sequatchie has still yet to pick up a score this preseason with the varsity. Run defense was stout again versus Bledsoe. Grundy is so young, has a freshman QB who can run the veer, just no team speed.
